Taken from the band’s 2021 critically-acclaimed debut Technicolour Shakedown which was released on vinyl this past February, “There’s No one There” grasps at a darker psychedelic groove and monitor, anchored by Harrison-esque or Byrds-styled twelve string guitar riffs. Chronicling the isolation and reduction of link brought about by the pandemic, the eerie ghostly vocal echo results build an ambiance that washes in the desperate sensation of emptiness of isolation.

“We shot the online video for ‘There’s Nobody There’ at the height of the Covid-19 limitations,” points out songwriter, recording wizard, singer, guitarist, keyboardist Christian Gisborne. “Half the scenes are videos of me and my guitar shot with my Apple iphone and a tripod at an deserted park, beneath the freeway and in some vacant bushes.”

Using edge of not only the cover of night but also the desolate environs that the quarantine afforded, they were being ready to capture the experience of isolation properly. “We shot at 2am when there was quite actually ‘nobody there’,” he carries on. “I imagine this tune and online video really captures the sensation of what it really was like during that period in which we really didn’t know what was heading on or wherever items would be in the coming months. The relaxation of the album has a very beneficial and outgoing sentiment having said that this observe is rooted in the really true doom and gloom that was on our minds in late 2020.”

Originally released August 27, 2021, the youthful ’60s-infused garage rock ‘n’ roll band is gearing up for a chaotic 2022 with a slate of live demonstrates and competition dates, which includes Redondo Beach front, CA’s BeachLife Festival on May perhaps 13th exactly where they share the stage with Weezer, 311, Black Pumas and Chilly War Children and McGill, NV’s Schellraiser Festival on June 5th together with Broncho and Outdated 97’s ahead of heading about to the Uk for a round of dates later on that month.
